response to: let me put it another way

buddha letters: let me put it another way
it's a fine line we walk when it's our friends
it's another story when it is among strangers.

and the reason i say that is because:
at what point do we pursue what we want for the sake of being happy?
or
at what point do we follow our heart so it may lead us to contentment?

here we go again with Karma:
either way we didn't finish the lesson brought about by the experience.
but the experience which leads to Karma is the choices we make while experiencing the lesson.
therefore if you choice to go after another's heart because they touched yours in a way the you never have experienced before and in the process someone else is hurt, the severity of the hurt is what brings on the Karma, because with the severity of the hurt comes choices of either jealousy or revenge to take what is in your mind yours and not what really is.

Jealousy is a result of lack of self love, when we feel jealous we are in-secure about ourselves not so much the person that we are jealous about. we then take these feelings and apply them to love;"afterall it must be love if i feel jealous about this person."
