dying in dreams

I have been told this before, I think it's an old wives tale, that if you die in your dreams then you die in real life. Is it accurate?

when we dream it is a manifestation of our unconscious self struggling to reach the surface and survive.
and not allow what we don't want to release, such as the many changes that we're experiencing when growing as a human.
yet we can find solace thou, thru being honest with ourselves and ask a simple question.
What is it that we are trying to keep alive and why?
is this what is causing us to self sabotage our own beliefs?
the answer is yes.
our biggest fear is fear of ourselves becoming the best that we can be.
dreams help us discover our true selves if we pay attention to the messages given in the dream.
dying in a dream is a way of changing and so to speak; be reborn.
some have past while dreaming because they have settled for what their dream was telling them.
but most have not, because they want to live and that is your instinct kicking in.
struggling to survive, is what we know best how to do.
what we bring back from the dream world to reality gets twisted because things work differently in the dream world.
that is where things are created,
whether they are good or bad,
it is usually a reflection of the type of experiences we are experiencing in reality.

traveling between worlds

In my book, it also talks about self hypnosis. I was wondering if it really
helps when you are traveling between worlds as in astral projection, or even
when you meditate, i'm just thinking what if you can't bring yourself back,
what then? I guess what the real question is does it actually works. Can
you provide any insight?

lets start with self hypnosis; it is a great way to teach yourself to think differently especially when your trying to teach yourself to be more positive or stop a bad habit, like smoking, or lose weight. (personally i've never known anyone to teach themself to lose weight using self hypnosis).
basically what you do is create a space in your mind where you find the void.
if you remember the void is where you create what ever you want to happen to you.
but what most authors forget to mention is what ever you create always has consequences. so even if it is for your own goodness it may not be for someone elses goodness.
let me explain why a little better, because when we create, we manifest things to happen in our life even though we were given the gift of FREEWILL we still have the opportunity to change what we know to be.

Astral projection is yet another way of self hypnosis. only when we astral project we are calling upon the Soul instead of the Mind to help us travel between worlds as you call it or thru time like i call it.

either way you are being asked to create your future.
so be creative and create from memory what kind of world you want to live in.

while practicing self hypnosis for time travel it is best to be able to remember to awaken yourself by setting some type of alarm that is not going to shock you back into reality (the now time- the moment). this i would practice with another person who can direct you back or even ask questions to you while you are in that state of mind.

i personally recommend Astral projection because it is believed that our soul is connected to our body and cannot be severed. we are held together by a single Golden thread of life force that God insured would keep us grounded, that is our Soul grounded to our bodies which is a shell. it can only be severed if we choose to die. once again we have FREEWILL.
being our true bodies is our Soul.
